So here's one that took me a while. Here's my foot:
Ha! No, that isn't really my foot. I played with the idea of removing the flaws from my real foot and did so on Photoshop Elements. But this blog is about honesty. . . . and humor in real life.
So here's my real foot--unedited. Feel free to laugh.
Yes--this is my size 10 wide winter foot--complete with chipped toenail polish and long hairs. It's my genetic misfortune to have hair that grows on my toes. Not that I care that much. . . obviously . . . at least, not during the winter.
So you may be wondering why in the world I took a picture with my foot on top of this Zhu Zhu Pet toy. Please look at the picture again and think about whether that very size 10 foot could fit through the hole in that Zhu Zhu play house.
If it helps to have some other pictures as reference here they are:
The Zhu Zhu Pet is a battery operated hamster. It squeaks darling little noises, and heads the opposite way when it bumps a wall. |
Zhu Zhu pet play houses can be combined together to make a large play house. The kids set this up near my bed. |
Somehow in my stupor, I managed to land my foot right in the center of the Zhu Zhu Pet play house. Now, if you look at the picture, you'll see that a size 10 wide is NOT meant to go inside a Zhu Zhu Pet Play House!
Yet mine did. Instantly, I was laying on the ground whimpering, squealing, and tugging at the piece of plastic, which was cutting deeply into my heel and forcing my toes backwards into a painful position. My foot was wedged in.
The only way I could get the Zhu Zhu Pet Play House off my foot was to rip the plastic. Writhing and wrestling with the plastic, I realized this almost instantly. However, this task was difficult--it's not that easy to break through this plastic. But the longer I was in pain, the more my adrenaline kicked in, and the more frantically I pulled at the plastic. Eventually it was enough, and I escaped. You can see on the right of the playhouse where I broke the plastic.
What's the moral of the story?
1. Don't leave Zhu Zhu Pet houses by your bed!
2. Don't step on the Zhu Zhu Pet play house that did get left out! Ouch!

That was painful to even read- ouch!!! You should hear Andrew when he steps on the kids toys and hurts himself...
I'm also curious to know what you are not laughing about which happened yesterday- don't forget to post it!
Miss you guys!
Yikes, sounds painful
Ouch! Love the honesty in the foot depiction.
