Henry chose this "cute little baby picture." |
Today, for the first time in months, Henry (4) and I stayed home this morning. After getting the older kids off to school, I read books to him and as is inevitable, nodded off. As I drowsily tried to convince him to let me nap for a bit, I tried to redirect his attention from me by asking him to draw a picture of himself. He didn't exactly follow my directions, but these are the pictures he came up with.
Ant: "He's crawling into tunnels," says Henry. |
Jellyfish: "He's eating . . . I mean . . . stinging people," says Henry. |
On the left, Spaceman. On the right, Alien.
"The spaceman is killing that, because it's an alien," says Henry. |
