Ages and Stages

I think it's fascinating how kids understand, or misunderstand things.  We had some very close friends who moved across the country.  Our kids especially loved them, and cried when they left.

Despite many explanations about where these friends moved, Henry still looked around church today, a couple months later, and asked where they were.

The kids at preschool still ask about Tanner and Natalie and Ollie...I guess that 3 and 4-year-olds just don't understand "moved". :-)

Kids are funny about that. Gabe knows my grandmother is old and so whenever we talk to my folks he asks, "is great grandma dead yet?"

I am finally catching up on my blog reading. I love your posts so much. It helps me feel apart of your family still. We love you and miss you so! I look around church and ask "Where are the Willises?"
